The Rock and Triple H had perhaps one of the most underrated rivalries the Attitude Era had to offer over the course of the most popular period in wrestling history. And it's rather hilarious to note that the pair are still going out of their way to throw cheeky digs and fire shots at one another all these years later.

Coming during a BBC Radio 1 appearance in 2017, The Game recalled that The Great One's People's Elbow initially started out as something of a joke. In short, the move was Rock's attempt to make The Undertaker corpse and break character on the house show circuit. However, over time a weapon which The Cerebral Assassin defined as "the hokiest move ever" would take on a life of its own.

As Trips would reveal, though, just because it looked ridiculous, didn't necessarily mean you came away from it without a scratch:

“He runs back and forth, and then he comes up and drops an elbow on you, that looks like it barely touches you, except a lot of times the point of his elbow hits you right in the mouth, and you come up bleeding, and you’re like ‘How can you bust me open on that?’"
