10 Wrestlers Who Hated Working Together

9. Sin Cara & Alberto Del Rio

There must be something about the Sin Cara gimmick, because both wrestlers to wear the mask have had notable scuffles with their follow wrestlers. The current Sin Cara has been involved in backstage fights with Sheamus and Simon Gotch in recent years, while his predecessor (Mistico) has a longstanding beef with Alberto Del Rio.

Their mutual dislike stems all the way back to their CMLL days. The two were so heated backstage that one of Mistico’s friends allegedly pulled a gun on Del Rio at one point, and their bad blood was evident every time they wrestled afterwards. The duo would always work stiff against each other in CMLL, and were purposefully booked to avoid each other prior to Del Rio’s WWE signing.

They rekindled their beef when Mistico came to WWE and began working as Sin Cara. They met in the ring in 2013, and after another stiffly-worked match, Sin Cara suffered a broken finger. Del Rio was so infuriated by Cara’s botchy performance that he legitimated kicked him on the way out of the ring, and unsurprisingly, Sin Cara asked for his release a few weeks later. The feud didn’t end there, however, with the duo engaging in a brief Twitter spat late last year.
