Speaking of wrestlers pulling a gun on one another, it doesn’t get scarier than Kamala doing so on Andre the Giant.

In a 2014 interview, Kamala revealed that he absolutely loathed working with Andre, and it stemmed from an incident in 1982. You’d expect a match between two mammoths to be a physical affair in the first place, but the two started taking liberties with one another, and almost turned the contest into a real-life fight.

They were able to rein it in for the public, but things escalated backstage. Kamala was apparently so furious with how the match had gone that he pulled a gun on Andre backstage and demanded an apology. Held at gunpoint, Andre had no choice but to say sorry, and Kamala, in his own words, told Andre that he’d “better start thinking from now on” as he put the pistol away.

The ill will continued, though both were able to keep it under wraps from that moment onwards. Kamala always feared retaliation, however, and admitted to keeping a loaded gun in his trunks whenever he was backstage in the aftermath. Fortunately, coolers heads prevailed, nobody was shot, and both men stayed successful through the 1980s.
