10 Wrestlers Who Have Been Swept Under The Rug
5. Veer Mahan
For six long months, Veer was coming.
After so much hype, to the point of ridicule, even by the company itself, what chance did Veer Mahan have when he arrived? There was so much hype that a limited worker, and he is an incredibly limited worker, was always going to struggle to connect with an audience that expects better than the standard big man squash.
To be fair, WWE under Vince McMahon did at least try to add a little legitimacy to Veer's arrival by having him assault the Mysterios, but it became apparent quite quickly that Mahan just wasn't the new brute they had hoped for.
With McMahon's forced retirement, Triple H has clearly taken one look at the lack of impact that Veer had had on the roster, and has scrapped him completely. When was the last time Mahan was featured on RAW? The Mysterios have moved on to Judgement Day shenanigans without so much as a care about the Mahan attacks.
For the last few months, Veer has been languished on Main Event, and recent reports have stated that he has been sent back to NXT, possibly to rekindle his partnership with Sanga as Indus Sher.
It's probably for the best, but for now, we can consider the Veer Mahan experiment over.
