10 Wrestlers Who Have Changed The Most Since AEW Launched

6. Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho
AEW

When AEW first bolted out of the gate, Chris Jericho was its biggest star attraction. He main evented the company's inaugural pay-per-view (Double or Nothing 2019), and went on to become the first ever AEW World Champion defeating Adam Page in the main event of All Out 2019.

As well as lending his credibility to the company's top prize, Jericho established The Inner Circle, bringing younger talent under the Jericho brand to spur on their growth. In the same vein, Scorpio Sky was the first person to pin Jericho in AEW.

In dropping the title to Jon Moxley (Revolution 2020), Jericho began a noticeable transition. He remained in the top tier of the company, yet he slowly morphed into a grizzled veteran, putting over new talent such as Orange Cassidy and MJF, as well as his Inner Circle teammates. Not just confined to the singles scene, Jericho and his partners have brought some fire to the tag team division, showcasing the best of teams as diverse as The Varsity Blonds, Jurassic Express, and SCU.

While Jericho has always been generous and an elite performer, his transition from debut to the present day is marked. He has lost nothing, yet AEW has gained much.
