10 Wrestlers Who Have Changed The Most Since AEW Launched

4. Scorpio Sky

Chris Jericho
AEW

Scorpio Sky, as a member of SCU, competed on the first official match on AEW's premiere show Double or Nothing 2019. Scorpio and SCU stablemate Frankie Kazarian were soon crowned the first ever AEW Tag Team Champions, reigning between 30 October 2019 and 21 January 2020. During this time, Sky would also unsuccessfully challenge for Chris Jericho's World Championship on the 27 November 2019 edition of Dynamite.

In late 2020, Sky quietly moved away from SCU, allowing Kazarian and Christopher Daniels to continue as a duo. He was successful in solo action, winning the #1 Contenders Face Of The Revolution Ladder match at Revolution 2021.

Sky began March 2021 unsuccessfully using his Revolution victory to challenge for the TNT Championship, but by the month's end he was in a new tag team with Ethan Page. However, the Scorpio Sky who returned to the tag division was not the one of 2019. While Sky formerly relied on the respect he's earned during his impressive indie career, the new Sky demanded even more, turning into an arrogant but admittedly suave heel. Rewatching AEW's inaugural pay-per-view gives no hint to present-day Sky.

In Ethan Page, Scorp has the perfect partner to continue his heelish descent.
