10 Wrestlers Who Have Made Kurt Angle Submit

Fast forward a year roughly and Kurt Angle was embroiled in a bitter feud with the rabid wolverine. A month earlier at Wrestlemania X7, Angle did tap out to Chris Benoit in their one on one match. However the referee was no where to be found when the submission occurred. Angle eventually cheated to win that match with a low blow. This particular feud escalated to a point where it had to be settled in a unique way. The Ultimate Submission match.

Much like an Ironman match, this particular match type resorted to only submissions scoring a point. Whoever scores the most victories in 30 minutes would become the victor. This match is overflowing with technical mastery. While the score was tied after half a hour, with both officially on 3 points (Angle did submit outside the ring on one extra occasion), sudden death was initiated, with Benoit locking in the Crossface for the victory. A classic match that is well worth watching again if you were brought up in that era.
