10 Wrestlers Who Have SERIOUSLY Regressed In The Ring
6. Robert Roode
Robert Roode may have until recently been one half of the SmackDown Tag Team Champions, but that doesn't mean his match quality has been golden. Looking at his position on the card and how he's faired in the company thus far, it is safe to say that he may have hit his peak in TNA.
This former member of Beer Money Inc. came to WWE as an illustrious figure, with a decade worth of experience as a top-tier talent. At first, he seemed to carry this legacy with him, as Roode quickly became a significant fixture in NXT and held championship gold.
His in-ring work had a distinct feel to it, as although it was slow, it was also methodical, old school and full of great storytelling. He put on some solid matches with the likes of Shinsuke Nakamura and Drew McIntyre, and while he wasn't "exciting" to watch, he still proved his worth. However, looking at him now is like night and day - or Bobby and Robert.
The former TNA World Champion's matches have gone from feeling planned out and traditional to simply blasé and boring. While that could be blamed on the fact he's in a tag team, it shouldn't be, as the man spent his formative years in that same division in TNA and made a name for himself with it.
