10 Wrestlers Who Have SERIOUSLY Regressed In The Ring
3. Chris Jericho
Chris Jericho is the oldest performer on this list, and the fact that he's still able to go as well as he can at the ripe age of 50 is astonishing. But you're lying if you say that his in-ring work is at the same calibre as it used to be. Like the intelligent performer he is, he knows how to hide his flaws, but they still seep through the cracks from time to time.
At the tail end of his WWE career, it was clear Jericho was starting to slow down, as his matches weren't quite as spectacular as when he was writing The List. After his time in NJPW and jump to AEW, it became clear that his in-ring performances were starting to slow down, and lack that sense of pacing and variety they used to have.
Le Champion is by no means done with wrestling, and he's still putting on entertaining showdowns. But his age is starting to show as his matches tend to focus on more story-driven angles as opposed to the wrestling prowess he made his name with. Nevertheless, this is a smart move and will keep the legend going for years to come.
