10 Wrestlers Who Have Suddenly Vanished

9. Cedric Alexander

Cedric Alexander's main roster push stands as one of the most weirdly-handled in recent WWE history.

Promoted to Raw with little hype in April 2019, he eventually found himself rubbing shoulders with Roman Reigns, Drew McIntyre, and Shane McMahon via ridiculous self-own as Gary 'The GOAT' Garbutt, but popped the crowd with a huge dive during the Samoan Summit. Later, he went 1-3 in an ineffective AJ Styles feud before becoming fodder for the likes of Buddy Murphy and Andrade, his elevation no longer a priority.

A reported favourite of Paul Heyman, Cedric's "push" (some daft fool probably thought the Garbutt angle was a good idea) disintegrated amidst talk that Vince McMahon had lost interest and was intentionally burying the former Cruiserweight Champion. This was vehemently denied by Cedric himself, though February saw him make headlines by tweeting "frustrated is an understatement."

Alexander's last Raw match went down on 10 February. He lost to Angel Garza in under three minutes that night. Like Shelton Benjamin, he has slotted into an underwhelming role on Main Event, but who the hell is watching Main Event in 2020? He has, for all intents and purposes, vanished.
