10 Wrestlers Who Have Suffered The Most Since WrestleMania 34

2. The Undertaker

The Undertaker hasn't appeared on WWE TV, to his benefit - even he would probably suffer the 50/50 treatment if he hadn't been reduced to limited in-ring "activity" - but his reputation has suffered, nonetheless. His bizarre cameo at WrestleMania - with John Cena getting p*ssed up in the audience, and the prelude sang by Elias - was a spot of fun.

It was fun. Nothing more. Is ‘fun’ a concept we really want to associate with the Dead Man?

This was the only way Vince McMahon felt he could present his greatest ever creation. Vince teased a match without explicitly promoting it because he knew no match proper could take place. ‘Taker was not up to it. In doing so, the Undertaker was portrayed as something of a novelty figure. This was the Undertaker wearing a Sheriff’s badge on RAW in 2003. This was the Undertaker cracking Vince McMahon with a tire iron at WrestleMania XXVI. This was the Undertaker crotch-chopping The Revival at RAW25. This was beyond even the end. This was the epilogue of the Undertaker’s career.

His Greatest Royal Rumble match with Rusev was not an embarrassment.

Is ‘not an embarrassment’ a concept we really want to associate with the Dead Man?
