10 Wrestlers Who Have Unfinished Business With WWE Right Now

9. Drew McIntyre

On re-signing for WWE last year, Drew McIntyre pledged to become the first-ever British world champion, and having been promoted to the main roster this week he now has the platform to do just that.

But it's not just the hopes of a nation that he's carrying on his back. He also perhaps owes a debt to the chairman of the board, who - having anointed the Scot his "chosen one" during his first stint - has always shown an inordinate amount of faith in his ability.

To prove that Vince was right to give him a second chance, he probably needs to go all the way to the top. Become a fully-fledged main eventer of the type that sweeps up championship gold and regularly headlines pay-per-views.

Failing that, breaking the UK duck would be pretty cool by itself. The likes of Davey Boy Smith and William Regal have all failed to capture WWE's biggest prize, and if McIntyre could be the one to do it he would effectively guarantee his place in the history books.
