10 Wrestlers Who Lived In The Shadow Of More Famous Relatives

Sure, one could make the argument that Owen Hart should be on this list. After all, Owen famously told the world in a promo that he was tired of living in Bret's shadow, which kicked off one of the greatest familial feuds of all time. But compared to Bruce, Owen was the Hulk Hogan of the family.

Of the seven Hart brothers who became wrestlers, Bret and Owen went on to become household names, while Smith, Keith, Dean, Ross, and Bruce all carved out respectable niches for themselves in Stampede Wrestling. But Bruce was the only other Hart who also tried to make a serious go of it in WWE.

In fact, the Owen vs. Bret feud was originally supposed to be Bruce vs. Bret, an idea that Bret campaigned to have changed because he didn't think he could put on the same caliber of matches with Bruce that he could with Owen. Ouch.

Instead, Bruce was relegated to an ancillary role in the storyline (along with Keith). After being snubbed for his youngest sibling, Bruce went to the indie circuit, where he wrestled alongside the likes of Marty Jannetty, Tatanka, and brother-in-law Jim Neidhart.

In recent years, Bruce has popped up in random WWE events, always connected to Bret in some way. It's fair to say Bret has been Bruce's meal ticket for a while now.
