10 Wrestlers Who Must Be Included In WWE Mae Young Classic 2
2. Meiko Satomura
The Mae Young Classic was created to honour the late great Mae Young. With that in mind, why not include a legendary name such as Meiko Satomura?
The 38-year old Japanese icon has been honing her craft for the better part of 22 years. Starting her wrestling career at the young age of 15, she defeated Sonoko Kato in her debut match and has since been recognised as a pioneer in women's wrestling. Whenever someone gets the opportunity to face Meiko, that wrestler considers it an accomplishment.
Throughout her storied career, Meiko has wrestled all over the globe. No matter if she's in her home country of Japan or wrestling in England, it's guaranteed that she'll will put on a fantastic match. Despite being a 22-year veteran, Satomura hasn't held that much championship gold but when she does have a title over her shoulder, she holds it for a lengthy period. The current Fight Club: PRO Champion, Meiko is also a previous winner of the annual CHIKARA King of Trios tournament.
WWE didn't have any legendary stars in the 2017 Mae Young Classic that possessed the same amount of talent that Meiko Satomura has. Let's just hope they change that for this year's bracket...
