10 Wrestlers Who NEED A Huge 2024

7. Bobby Lashley

Drew McIntyre WWE Mic

If the best has been and gone for Bobby, he certainly exceeded expectations in his second WWE spell. The formerly bland powerhouse finally tapped into the perfect character, mean, edgy, and cool, and thoroughly deserved his championship runs and WrestleMania barnburner against Drew McIntyre.

If the 47 year old Lashley were to be phased out, it would be understandable, but he occupies a weird hinterland at present. When he pops up, the fans are thrilled to see him, and the nu-Hurt Business he’s been brewing with the Street Profits feels a no-brainer, a win-win-win for all involved.

There’s a reticence about the whole thing, though. The trio’s first match was a baffling loss to the LWO, and from there, forward motion has been hard to find.

It feels like the easiest booking in the world, especially in a WWE replete with groups and factions, but all we’ve got is shots of Lashley looking cross or pleased with his new mentees depending on how violent they’ve been. If this is the last chapter in Bobby’s WWE career, he deserves a good one.
