10 Wrestlers Who No-Showed

8. Neville

Event: 9 October 2017 - WWE Raw.

What Happened: This fan will gladly argue until the sun goes down that Neville deserved better in WWE after successfully reinventing himself as a Cruiserweight classic in 2017. His menacing facials and punchy promos complemented already-brilliant in-ring skills, and he could've easily become bigger news outside 205 Live.

Unfortunately, WWE didn't agree. Neville knew that too.

By the time he was scheduled to lose to Enzo Amore on the 9 October 2017 Raw, the future AEW man was so mentally frazzled that he decided he'd rather leave the company completely instead. This led to a lengthy contractual dispute between promotion and wrestler, and that saga didn't end until August 2018.

Technically, Neville walked out on WWE's flagship earlier in the day. He was nowhere to be found by the time the broadcast went live on USA Network though, and definitely wasn't coming back in time for the bout with Amore mid-way through.
