10 Wrestlers Who Only Worked ONE WWE Match
5. Mikey Whipwreck (1997)
Fellow ex-ECW World Champions like Steve Austin, Rhyno, Tazz and more worked countless WWF/WWE matches over the years. Poor little Mikey Shipwrecked only managed to get one. Yes, yes that name was used as a tribute to Bobby Heenan. 'The Brain' knew how to make Whipwreck memorable during Mikey's short stint in WCW.
That WCW tenure was barely more prolific than his WWF one, to be fair.
Whipwreck worked a short match with fellow extreme original Taz (pre extra 'z') on the 24 February 1997 episode of Monday Night Raw. This, as some older fans may recall, was part of an ECW invasion storyline that happened a full four years before Paul Heyman's skeleton crew linked up with WCW as The Alliance.
Mikey was there to help promote ECW's upcoming pay-per-view Barely Legal, but he was largely mincemeat for the much more important Taz. Anyone hoping to see Whippedneck on another WWF show would end up disappointed. He didn't get another call to wrestle.
