10 Wrestlers Who Only Worked ONE WWE Match
4. Bruce Hart (1993)
You can throw ol' Keith Hart into this equation too, actually.
Bruce is the main focus here though, 'cause he was likely expecting a bit more shine from Vince McMahon's league in the 1980s and into the 90s. Creatively, Bruce was fab; he was the one who came up with that Bret vs. Owen story, but the WWF cut him out of the tale and replaced him with Owen.
That had to sting. Bruce did get a pay-per-view payday when teaming with his brothers vs. Shawn Michaels and some "knights" at Survivor Series 1993, at least. However, as it transpired, that'd be his only foray onto PPV for the biggest promotion in the land. The McMahons didn't need to see anymore from Bruce afterwards.
They already had their fill of the Harts with Bret and Owen, so Brucey got one night to showcase his wares to the world and that was it. He was almost definitely hoping for more long-term.
