10 Wrestlers Who Perfected A Finisher On Its Owner
8. CM Punk Goes Old School
CM Punk and The Undertaker's programme running into WrestleMania 29 was as intriguing as it was controversial.
After the Voice of the Voiceless had already stolen 'Taker's urn (used to honour the untimely death of his former master, Paul Bearer), Punk enlisted Paul Heyman to dress up and mock the recently deceased Paul Bearer on the final episode of Raw before 'Mania.
If you thought that was the peak of Chick-Magnet Phil's disrespect, New Jersey was the site of a whole new level of flippancy.
Not content with simply ending The Undertaker's streak, Punk went out of his way to imitate The Phenom - using 'Taker's gestures to further piss on the iconic star's legacy. The step (or steps) too far came when Punk decided to go 'Old School'.
In a move that drew ire from the sizeable Universe in attendance, Punk coasted along the top rope - with an ease that Undertaker could only envy at this stage in his career - and hung in the air to add additional spectacle to this humiliating turn of events.
It didn't assist a CM Punk win in the end - hubris being his downfall - but it made us doubt, even for just a second, whether our Phenom may be coming to the end of his road.
