10 Wrestlers Who Proved There's Life After WWE
4. Kurt Angle
Kurt Angle has said himself that he regards his spell in TNA - which constitutes more than half of his total career in professional wrestling - as every bit as good, in terms of quality, as his spell in WWE.
And you can't really argue with that. In fact, the Olympic gold medalist perhaps left his first employers at just the right time, trading the opportunity play jobber to less accomplished in-ring performers such as John Cena and Randy Orton for one to work with the likes of AJ Styles and Samoa Joe instead.
Granted, the Impact Zone, with its capacity crowd of 1,500 fans, doesn't quite compare to walking out at WrestleMania - but Angle proved, more than anyone, that there are great wrestling memories to be made after leaving WWE.
