Travis Tomko began his WWE career as a lackey for Christian in the mid-2000s. Despite having a prominent position in the mid-card, The Problem Solver failed to strike out on his own, and quit WWE in 2006 to try his luck in Japan.

Finding more success overseas, Tomko formed a tag team with Giant Bernard (Albert/Tensai), and entered a tournament for the vacant IWGP Heavyweight Championship. With Bernard, he captured the IWGP Tag Team Championships. After financial concerns from NJPW management, Tomko was let go. Soon after, he joined his old WWE mentor, Christian, in the ranks of TNA.

After a lengthy run with the company, being paired with the likes of Christian, AJ Styles, and Kurt Angle, Tomko was quietly released from TNA in 2010. The next time Tomko was in the public eye, it wasn’t good news.

Struggling with a painkiller addiction, on 11 October 2011, Tomko stole a number of drugs from a pharmacy in Florida. Demanding the cashier provide him with oxycodone while pretending to have a concealed weapon, Tomko was arrested, and later charged with armed robbery. Being released a week later after posting bail, Tomko entered a rehabilitation program sponsored by WWE.

Tomko retired from wrestling in 2016 and currently owns a gym in Delray Beach, Florida.
