10 Wrestlers Who Regretted Jumping Ship
2. Chris Harris
One half of America’s Most Wanted, one of the top tag teams in TNA history, Chris Harris had unlimited potential when breaking out onto his own. After being blinded and betrayed by his ex-partner James Storm, Harris sought revenge as a sympathetic babyface, eventually beating Storm in a Texas Death Match. The Wildcat then drifted in the midcard for the rest of the year before signing with WWE in January 2008.
In hindsight, that was easily the worst decision of his career. Harris debuted on the ECW brand in July as Braden Walker, telling a knock-knock joke to Armando Estrada. He beat Estrada and then beat James Curtis the next month – his only two matches before being released. Harris believes he was simply a message sent to other WWE hopefuls in Dixieland that TNA members best not apply.
His potential evaporated, and he was damaged goods for TNA.
