10 Wrestlers Who Should Be Future WWE World Champions

3. Dean Ambrose

Odds: 3-2 When the Shield broke apart last year, most had Roman Reigns pegged as the guy who would get the rocket strapped to him and become world champion within a year. The man who did become champ, Seth Rollins, was a solid prospect destined for success. As for Dean Ambrose, no one could have predicted just how well fans would take to him after the breakup. The Lunatic Fringe is easily the most popular of the trio, with Reigns getting a mixed reaction most of the time and Rollins spending the last seven months as a corporate sellout champion. Ambrose, by contrast, rants and raves on the mic and flies around the ring just as his nickname suggests. Listen to the crowd whenever his entrance music hits. At times, it€™s one of the two or three loudest pops of the night. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pzhUuAaQF4M Ambrose came close to winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship twice this summer, and fans would have bought either occasion. Dean might not be destined to be a long-term champ, but he certainly looks like a guy who will have a taste of it at some point.
