Let's look at that pic and pretend it's the WWE Heavyweight Championship.

Right, we are at the part of the list where it undoubtedly covers old ground or becomes incredibly predictable. But you know what? There is a reason why Mr. Perfect is always spoken about as one of the best wrestlers to never hold the WWE Heavyweight Championship. Do you know what that is?

Because Mr. Perfect WAS one of the best wrestlers to never hold the WWE Heavyweight Championship.

The man was smooth as silk between the ropes and his Perfect Plex was a thing of beauty, as was his dropkick. Combined with the glorious portrayal of his superior character and tremendously egregious theme song, he really should have been given a run with the top belt. When he returned to the WWE in early 2002, it looked like he hadn't missed a step but it was his own bad behaviour during the infamous 'Plane ride from hell' that cut his return short.

Tragically, Curt Hennig, the man behind the perfect gimmick, died in 2003 of an overdose at the age of 44. He was lost way too young.
