10 Wrestlers Who Should Hold The AEW All-Atlantic Title

After some initial frostiness, AEW and NJPW were able to build bridges that led not just to occasional cameos from the likes of Jeff Cobb, but an entire Pay Pay View of cross-pacific rivalries. Admittedly, the build for Forbidden Door was a little wonky, and injuries and politics robbed us of a few dream matches, but it was still an incredible show, and FTR remain the reigning IWGP Tag Champions.

Hopefully we will get another go around. With the Forbidden Door long since starting to resemble a revolving one, surely we’ll eventually see the likes of Bryan Danielson vs. Zach Sabre Jr. Tony Khan needs to make sure Gedo is happy with the arrangement, too. With one of AEW’s top teams walking around with NJPW tag belts, it couldn’t hurt to put a belt on one of the Japanese promotion’s big talents.

This would be more than just a political move, though. Will Ospreay is one of the best in-ring performers in the world, and apart from NJPW, it would be great to see him defend the All-Atlantic Title in the UK for RevPro. Plus, fingers crossed we get Kenny Omega back at some point.

If Ospreay holds the All-Atlantic Championship when Kenny returns to action, you know the Englishman will use his status as an AEW champion to further the p*ssing contest between the two of them.
