10 Wrestlers Who Should Join The Undisputed Era
7. Nigel McGuinness
As a heel colour commentator, Nigel McGuinness is already a noted fan of the group. He'll praise the tag team work of Fish and O'Reilly, relish the intensity of Roderick Strong, and go out of his way to bring up the genius tactics of Adam Cole. Why wouldn't he? They're ROH boys (this will be a running theme) and he's one of the all-time great ROH Champions.
Of course, Nigel can no longer wrestle, but having a man in the booth is an invaluable asset. He already talks UE up in their matches. Why not make it official? McGuinness is talented enough that it wouldn't be obnoxious like Michael Cole's adoration of The Miz in 2011. No, he'd be the wise sage who guides Adam and company on their journey.
People have drawn parallels between Undisputed Era's run and Evolution, but they need their Ric Flair to complete the set. Nigel McGuinness is an old school Brit who likes it when heels get creative. He can advise the boys on how to keep their spot at the top and brag on commentary about how they'll run NXT forever. If anyone can make it work, it's him.
