10 Wrestlers Who Should Join The Undisputed Era

6. Samoa Joe

Samoa Joe has unfortunately been dealing with the injury bug for his entire WWE tenure so far. The 40 year-old veteran has a lot of mileage on his body and hasn't wrestled at all since September. While he's doing a phenomenal job as RAW's colour commentator right now, his fans are hungering for an in-ring return. The lighter schedule of NXT is the way to go. Joe himself has said that when he first signed with the company, he didn't think he'd ever leave the third brand, seeing himself as a mentor for the talent of the future.

Now's the time to fill that role as something Undisputed Era sorely lacks: muscle. They need an enforcer, a brute, someone who will lay out everyone in their path. With big men like Dominik Dijakovic and Keith Lee casting their shadows over their dominance, Era need a big man of their own to counteract.

Who better than a Ring Of Honor original? The man who put that promotion on the map and ran NXT for much of 2016. If you need a point of entry and want to bring up history, Finn Bálor is gunning for Cole's belt right now. It would be typical of UE's leader to recruit Finn's greatest rival (and the man who ended his record reign) as back-up. The less rigorous demands of NXT would also be easier on Joe's body, preserving him for a proper run.
