10 Wrestlers Who Should Never Have Made WWE Royal Rumble's 'Final 4'

2014 and 2015 were grim years for the Royal Rumble, as the crowd's desperate love for Daniel Bryan overshadowed both matches. Bryan didn't even appear in 2014, but in 2015 WWE made the suicidal move of having Bryan enter and get eliminated early. This took the crowd out of the match, although the appearance of favourites like Dean Ambrose and Dolph Ziggler gave the crowd something approaching hope.

It still baffles then that WWE thought it would be a good idea to have Big Show and Kane run through the field with ease, only to be thrown over the top by Roman Reigns at the last. In fact, the only thing that got bigger boos than Show and Kane's rampage was Reigns' attempts to eliminate them. Things were so bad that the crowd were chanting 'We Want Rusev', and no WWE crowd should be chanting in unison for a top heel.

Big Show knocked out Dolph Ziggler, and then Show and Kane dumped his lifeless body over the top rope. They did the same to Bray Wyatt, who had lasted over 45 minutes to that point. Ambrose got a chokeslam for his troubles, before being dumped over the top. With each elimination the apathy of the crowd increased, to the point where not even The Rock could bring things back onside.

Kane and Big Show had absolutely no place in the final four of the 2015 Royal Rumble, and that decision did harm not only to the match, but the future hopes of Roman Reigns. It will go down in history as one of the most misguided Rumbles in history, with a final four that must not be repeated.
