Speaking of big men consistently being given pushes despite never really connecting with the crowd, WWE Hall of Famer Charles Wright is one of the biggest recipients of such a thing over WWE's history. Wright failed to get over as Papa Shango, 'The Supreme Fighting Machine' Kama, and good old Kama Mustafa, before finally finding success as a wrestling pimp, The Godfather. The man had an interesting career.

Whilst performing as TSFM, Kama somehow made it to the final four of the 1996 Royal Rumble. In fairness, Kama had feuded with The Undertaker throughout 1995, but after losing to the Deadman at SummerSlam he pretty much disappeared from TV. He returned for the Rumble, and promptly left again immediately after.

The '96 Rumble was the last truly weak Rumble, and a final four of Kama, Michaels, Diesel, and Bulldog was followed one year later by Bret Hart, Steve Austin, The Undertaker, and 'Diesel'. Well, fake Diesel, but that has already been discussed.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
