10 Wrestlers Who Should Switch Companies
7. AJ Styles (WWE to AEW)
AJ Styles debut in WWE was one of the best Royal Rumble surprise entrants of recent years. The fact that the company managed to keep it a secret until the last possible second made the crowd reaction all the better. Not even the camera ingering on Roman Reigns squinting towards the aisle could ruin it. The man himself has done great things in WWE since then.
Despite the fact that people had doubts as to how far he would get in Stamford due to coming from 'elsewhere' he held the WWE Championship twice, the United State Championship three times and the Intercontinental Championship once. He also managed to get the phrase 'Beat up John Cena' over with the masses. These are additions to an already long list of accolades in the world of professional wrestling. He also had the honour of being the opponent for The Undertaker's last match at WrestleMania in 2020.
As he approaches what feels like the end of his career though there's a feeling that he's done everything there is to do in WWE as it stands and perhaps new surroundings could give him those last few challenges to round off an already glittering career. A match with Kenny Omega, referencing him replacing AJ as leader of The Bullet Club, surely writes itself? The sight of the two of them standing across the ring from each other at All Out next year would surely be something.
