10 Wrestlers Who Should Switch Companies

8. FTR (AEW to WWE)

The list of NXT talent who rocked it in developmental only for Vince to then lumber them with ridiculous storylines or gimmicks once they hit the main roster in long indeed. FTR, or The Revival as they were back then, are near the top of it. Known on the black and gold brand for their no nonsense, no flips just fists style they were a hark back to a king of wrestling that hadn't been seen in a while. They were also a fully fledged tag team rather than feeling like two random wrestlers stuck together. Quite why they were forced into a prank battle with The Usos upon arriving on the main roster is anybody's guess.

AEW seemed like a much more natural fit for them and they have indeed thrived in that company. They've won the AEW Tag Team Championships twice and have only recently turned heel on Adam Copeland.

There's still the feeling about what could have been back in WWE however as they never quite got that absolute barnstorming match on the main roster that they are so obviously capable of having. FTR left WWE alongside many other names who felt that the direction the company was going under Vince McMahon wasn't to their liking. Others such as Rusev and Alistair Black have since returned now that Triple H is in charge of creative. FTR would be a fantastic addition to the tag team division in WWE and there would be a chance to right so many wrongs from the first time around.
