If The Miz appears in the 2022 Royal Rumble, he will tie Dolph Ziggler for the second most Rumble appearances of all time. Sadly, a lot of those appearances have been lacklustre and 2017 was no exception.

The Miz entered that year's Rumble match fresh off losing his Intercontinental Championship to Dean Ambrose (AEW's Jon Moxley). Remember this feud? Of course you don't. It was really boring.

Miz was looking to bounce back strong from this defeat by... spending nearly 33 minutes in the Rumble without eliminating anybody. He had a few run-ins with Ambrose but that ultimately led to nothing as Dean was thrown out by Brock Lesnar. Brock really loved screwing with Ambrose during this time didn't he?

Miz hung on for considerably longer than his rival, surviving 32 minutes and 44 seconds - a whopping two seconds longer than Mike Knox - before being chucked over the top rope by The Undertaker.

Fun fact, this was Taker's last ever Rumble match and he cleaned up nicely with four eliminations. Miz wasn't his final victim, but don't worry, we'll cover him in due time.
