Jerry "The King" Lawler has been in wrestling for over half a century. In that time he's won dozen of titles, sold-out venues, commentated on legendary matches, and was even wrestling throughout the pandemic in 2020. It's an impressive career, but Jerry could wrestle for another fifty years and still never get an easier payday than this.

Jerald entered the 1996 Royal Rumble match at number four and conspired with a bunch of heels to cover Henry Godwinn in slop. However, the plan backfired and it was Jerry who ended up getting a slopping. This must have put The King in a bad mood, because he then spent about half-an-hour hiding under the ring. Lawler's plan backfired when Shawn Michaels yanked him back between the ropes and promptly dumped him over said ropes to finally eliminate him.

He may not have been in the actual ring for long, but Lawler was in the Rumble match for 36 minutes and 2 seconds without even giving himself a chance to eliminate anybody. At least he inspired a young Road Dogg to pull this same trick a few years later.
