10 Wrestlers Who Still Kicked Ass In Their 50s

9. Ric Flair

When asked what figures would appear on wrestling's Mount Rushmore, many fans and performers would tell you that The Nature Boy is a guarantee, as Ric Flair was one of the most charismatic and legendary figures in the business.

Those who grew up in the Ruthless Aggression or PG eras still got their fair share of Flair, as he wrestled well into his fifties, retiring from in-ring action at 58. During his final years in WWE, he put on some shockingly great bouts, despite being almost twice the age of many of his opponents. His final WrestleMania outing with Shawn Michaels is still considered to be one of the most emotional matches of all time, and that is a testament to how much ass he could kick, even in his old age.

But his final WWE match wasn't the last time he would step into the ring, as he had a run in TNA, which was shockingly bloody and full of hardcore stipulations. Watching him face off against Hogan in a brutal showing was equal parts disturbing and impressive (even if it wasn't exactly vintage, workrate-wise). Still, it's safe to say that retiring after WrestleMania would have been a better way to go out.

His reputation in the modern WWE landscape might be a little strange - looking at you Lacey Evans - but his energy and passion is still inspiring to this day.
