10 Wrestlers Who Suffered The Most From WrestleMania 34

9. Kurt Angle

Ronda Rousey's debut match succeeded on almost every level. The choreography, timing, and crowd control were elite. Performance-wise, 'Rowdy' stole the show, but Stephanie McMahon deserves praise for a top-level acting performance in what was only her third match since 2003. Her husband, Triple H, sold like a maniac too, and was as selfless in putting Rousey over as a threat as Steph was.

The bout was superlative, but one thing prevents us from calling it perfect: Kurt Angle.

'The Olympic Hero' wasn't on point. He was in all the right places for his big spots, and certainly tried hard, but the magic is gone. Kurt looked like he was moving through treacle at various points, particularly in the opening stages, when he was throwing slow-motion punches at Triple H, and while 'The Game's' strong defensive performance made Angle look passable, his shortcomings stood out.

Nostalgia will likely buy the Olympian more matches before he eventually retires, but anyone not watching his work through red, white, and blue tinted shades can see he's finished at this level, and may be better off stepping away.
