10 Wrestlers Who VANISHED When WCW Died
9. Crowbar
Crowbar was released from WCW mere days before its acquisition by the WWF, yet over the years that followed he worked multiple dark matches before episodes of SmackDown!, Heat and Velocity.
Never finding himself in front of the cameras, more success was found in different promotions, most notable of which was World Wrestling All-Stars where he became the first and only Hardcore Champion.
Christopher Ford, the man behind the Crowbar persona has long planned for his life outside of wrestling. He spent six years at Kean University before graduating with a degree in physical therapy. 2004 was a big year for Ford. Not only did he return to the ring on the indies (bringing back his Crowbar persona alongside more generic ring names such as Tempest, Storm, Salem, and Judas) alongside his new role as a site coordinator and outpatient physical therapist, but a couple of months later he married Dina Caravella and they have since had a son and daughter.
In 2012, the couple opened the Raising The Bar Rehabilitation & Fitness centre in New Jersey, where Chris works as a physical therapist and Dina as a dietician, and the centre is still going strong.
