Considering all of the WWE wrestlers who have left and returned time and time again over the years, it's absolutely nuts to think that Sean Waltman has not competed in a WWE ring since July 2002.

That stat is even more unbelievable when you realise that Waltman was wrestling elsewhere as soon as September '02, and most recently laced 'em up this past March against Joey Janela for GCW.

Of course, X-Pac is these days a two-time WWE Hall of Famer, has appeared on the occasional anniversary special, and is a semi-regular face for those who watch The Bump. Still, it's madness to think that this truly revolutionary talent hasn't had a match in a WWE ring for nearly 20 years - with that last outing coming shortly after WWF's switcheroo to WWE.

For Waltman himself, he has regularly talked up his wish for one final WWE match in recent years, though that match has yet to come. Considering his standing with WWE, considering how there are those still active on a mainstream level way past Kid's 49 years of age, and considering how legit a gamechanger Waltman was in North American wrestling, it's madness that WWE haven't at least given him a Royal Rumble spot at some point.

As it stands, on a WWE level - sorry, old school TNA fans - X-Pac the active wrestler vanished a few months after World Wrestling Entertainment became a thing.
