10 Wrestlers Who Walked Out On Live TV

In February, Fightful started doing some digging and were told by sources within WWE that NXT's Taynara Conti had walked out on the 15 January episode before it aired on USA Network. She had been scheduled to work a Battle Royal on the show, but decided she'd rather leave instead.

Cue speculation and cue controversy.

By April, Conti was released as part of well-publicised mass cuts, and she'd go on to tell Fightful Select that WWE repeatedly overlooked her in favour of hiring new women. That became so frustrating that she decided to take a stand and show them that enough was enough. WWE probably weren't expecting someone they hadn't even pushed yet to act so defiantly.

Conti has since shown up in AEW, but her WWE run is very much a case of 'what might've been'. She admitted that the promotion all-but-killed her enthusiasm for pro wrestling and claims her January walk out had nothing to do with money. All she wanted was a chance.
