10 Wrestlers Who Walked Out On Live TV

9. Raven (August 1999 - Nitro)

Almost two years later in Montreal...

Only kidding. This has nothing to do with the prior entry, and everything to do with the kind of power madness and tunnel-visioned silliness that was going on in WCW by mid-1999. Before an unspecified edition of Nitro in August of that year, Eric Bischoff sat the roster down and chastised everyone for their behaviour.

This stemmed from several incidents on screen and off that irked the boss, but he made one bold decree when ranting about them: Bischoff said anybody who wasn't happy in the company and wanted their release could have it there and then. To his surprise, Raven stood up and said he'd take WCW up on the offer because he fancied getting out.

Raven left the arena and soon secured a return to his old stomping grounds over in ECW. That, in turn, later led to a run with the WWF. He'd never work for WCW again, which was a shame for anyone who enjoyed his 'Raven's Flock' run in the upper midcard.
