10 Wrestlers Who Were Given Way Too Many Chances

6. Sin Cara

This one may be playing a little outside the bounds on this list, because it’s more of a gimmick than a particular wrestler, but it simply must be stated: what the hell is up with this character? It doesn’t work! It will never work! They could put Ricochet under the Sin Cara mask, let him beat the entire roster by himself, and people still wouldn't care.

Sin Cara has been with WWE since 2011, when Mexican superstar Mistico joined the company and donned the blue and yellow mask. Ever since, the company has tried to make this thing work. Remember the blue lights that he used throughout his matches? Remember the trampoline? Remember all the botches?

When Mistico left the company, that was obviously the time to retire the act, but Hunico took over. The problem is, Hunico is nowhere near as fast or high-flying as Mistico. There was a fake Sin Cara, and they teamed up the "real" one with Kalisto. It's all flopped like a Sin Cara botch.

Despite wrestling urban legend, the company never replaced The Ultimate Warrior when he left. So why Sin Cara? Just let it go!

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
