10 Wrestlers Who Were Given Way Too Many Chances
7. Viscera

From an aesthetic standpoint, you can somewhat understand what Vince sees in big, muscular dudes. After all, they have the “turn your head at the airport" factor that the boss loves his talent to possess. But why exactly has Vince hired a lot of large, morbidly obese men over the years? People look at them I guess, but not exactly in awe.
In the mid-'90s, Vince needed to tone down the steroid-juiced bodies on his roster, but he still loved himself some big guys. He brought in Bastion Booger, Yokozuna, and Mabel to slow down the wrestling world to a crawl. While Yokozuna did get over as a monster heel, Mabel flopped in his big opportunity. He went from a tag team with Mo, to King Mabel and was later let go.
A few years later during the Attitude Era, Mabel came back, hungrier than ever, and morphed into Viscera. He was fine as a goth henchmen, but could never be relied on to deliver a good match. He was just a large guy who always lost, which defeated the purpose of having him around. He was let go, and then four years later was rehired. Viscera then went under another big personality change, this time into the World’s Largest Love Machine and was again repackaged as Big Daddy V in ECW.
There are many wrestlers who would have become a star if they had the opportunities that Viscera received, but sadly they weren’t 300 pounds heavier.
