2. Chris Jericho

One can only imagine how much hair Chris Jericho tore out when he learned that his red-hot program with Kevin Owens was going to bumped onto the 'Mania 33 undercard in favour of a Bill Goldberg World Title run. Suddenly, his Raw-dominating split from KO went from potential headline attraction to second match on the card.

Jericho thought that f*cking sucked, and he was further peeved when Vinnie Mac tore strips off Owens for the bout's quality on the night. How dare he. How bloody dare he. They had the chance to do something special, but WWE spoiled that by volleying the best rivalry on telly into the crummy United States Title position.

McMahon - you just made the list.

Jericho has never been secretive about his disdain for that demotion. He had a bad taste in his mouth afterwards and decided to start looking out for himself rather than WWE. Hence, a New Japan run and defection to become a cornerstone of AEW's rise.
