The most surprising thing about Matt Sydal's time in WWE is that he managed to stay there as long as he did. Listen to any interview with him and it quickly becomes clear that this is a free thinking guy, and those wellness test failures suddenly make a lot of sense. The former Evan Bourne also happens to be one of the most exciting wrestlers to watch on the planet.

Since leaving WWE, that exciting nature has come to the fore both in Japan and America. In the Far East, he has teamed with the equally thrilling Ricochet to win the 2015 Super Jr. Tag Tournament and IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Championship. The pair have impressed in matches with the likes of The Young Bucks, which even on slow motion appear to be taking place at a hundred miles per an hour.

Back in America, he was one of the many men to challenge Jay Lethal for his ROH Television Title but, more importantly, just seems to be having fun. Every time you watch him in the ring, you can't help but get excited as he flips and dives around the place. Matt Sydal is entertainment in its purest form and no matter what else he achieves, that is one hell of a claim to be able to make.
