10 Wrestlers Who Were Right To Walk Out On WWE

5. The Outsiders (1996)

Scott Hall gave Vince McMahon a chance to keep him. All Razor Ramon wanted was to know how he could make more money after plateauing in the upper mid-card for a few years. When the WWF chief told him there was no way to make more bank, Hall threw his hands up and signed a guaranteed deal with WCW.

It wouldn't be long before Kevin Nash did the same.

Nash's eyes must've lit up when he heard from Scott how much he'd be making over in Ted Turner's operation; he wanted some of that moolah himself, and he decided to hand in his notice to McMahon and join Hall over on Nitro. The eventual nWo story both worked with Hulk Hogan in the summer of 1996 justified their move.

The former Razor and Diesel became the coolest heels in wrestling almost overnight, and their bank accounts were bursting thanks to the ongoing war between WCW and the WWF. Both became bigger stars (partly due to the jump and partly due to that nWo association with Hogan) than they had been under Vince.
