10 Wrestlers Who Were Shoot PISSED As Soon As The Match Finished

A strange incident transpired at a WWE house show on July 9 in Sacramento, California.

Liv Morgan defended her SmackDown Women's title in a Triple Threat match opposite Natalya and Ronda Rousey. Natalya took Liv's finish, as planned, but something happened very atypical of a WWE event. As soon as the referee's hand struck the canvas for a third time, Natalya popped up and seemed to remonstrate with Morgan for...something. That is speculation, but it's the only logical interpretation; Natalya literally pointed her finger at Morgan, totally no-sold the finish of the match, and sprinted away in what seemed like defiance more than any timing snafu.

And yet, Dave Meltzer reported on the issue and, while being vague, said on Wrestling Observer Radio that something did indeed go awry, but there was no heat between Liv and Natalya. Was Natalya kicking the cat?

Or was all of this a bizarre Paul Heyman-style shoot which, despite being nonsensical and deliberately obscure, was meant to generate buzz on an "all publicity is good publicity" basis?

Given WWE's total refusal to do anything bold or interesting on TV, much less a house show, that scenario also seems unlikely.

Who knows: but she was most certainly pissed.
