Brock Lesnar knew he was doing the job to John Cena at Extreme Rules 2012 a fortnight in advance. He had no compunction about losing; as long as they paid him and didn't f*ck him, he was there to do business.

The issue is that he thought WWE f*cked him in Philadelphia...

...twice.

The match was expertly constructed without feeling constructed. It felt like Lesnar had walked into the octagon with the sole intention of sending Cena to kingdom f*cking come covered in piss and blood. A spectacle unlike anything WWE had ever presented, the puzzling idea - and they managed it, somehow - was to put Cena over and get Lesnar over.

Lesnar was pissed immediately after the match because - and this is ironically amusing, given the hard way blood he drilled out of Cena's head - he felt that Cena had worked recklessly. He thought Cena had pulled down the rope in a spot that nearly blew his knee out. In reality, while Cena is clumsy and uncoordinated, he isn't stupid enough to deliberately anger a man as dangerous as Lesnar.

Or is he?

Because after the match, he pissed Lesnar off a second time by reneging on the planned stretcher job. Instead, he cut a promo about how he needed to go away for a while. "I'm going to need an entire 24 hours to recover from that beating, I tell ya".

Lesnar was so furious that he told Mark Carrano of Talent Relations to suck his cack and almost quit.
