10 Wrestlers Who Were Shoot PISSED As Soon As The Match Finished

3. Shawn Michaels (...Again)

Shawn Michaels had a 'Boyhood Dream' growing up in Texas.

Glued to the television set watching the feisty grappling and dramatic tumbles of his local territory, as a gifted athlete himself, he wanted to be a wrestler too. He was enamoured with it, and it's obviously a very relatable feeling to anybody reading this article. At its very best, professional wrestling is magical. It elicits a feeling like nothing else. Well, not unlike anything else; by crafting the drama and thrill of sport with the reassuring glow of fiction and its happy endings, it's the best of everything, done right.

Shawn felt it, strived to perfect it, and the feeling of accomplishment was intensified because it wasn't meant to happen. Performers of his size were meant to be great hands, not top stars. Shawn was so talented and so driven that he had to conquer and transform the industry at the same time. It was his destiny; as a small child, he clenched his eyes shut in an attempt to manifest the dream. "One day...one day...

one day, I'll tell Bret Hart to get the f*ck out of my ring, even though he just did business for me at a time when that actually meant something".

No wonder nobody bought the babyface act.
