10 Wrestlers Who Were The Last Person To Take Iconic Moves

8. The Rock's People's Elbow - Erick Rowan

So long as The Rock has elbows, you can rely on the People's Champ to turn up every three years to drop one on whoever is WWE's current People's Chump, raise an eyebrow, and high-tail it back to Hollywood perfectly in tact.

Dwayne Johnson's last greatest hits cameo came as SmackDown celebrated its 20th birthday this past October, one of several advertised legends to actually make it on screen (Sting, Steve Austin and The Undertaker were all promoted, but didn't appear). His astronomical star power was such that there was really no need for the rest of the Hall of Famers to line up their own finishers for punching bag King Corbin, besides, you know, fulfillment of promises.

Will we ever see The Rock give the People's Elbow in the context of an actual wrestling match again? Probably not. But we can rely on him to sporadically make a current superstar look like an absolute nobody for the rest of time.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
