10 Wrestlers Who Were The Last Person To Take Iconic Moves

6. Shawn Michaels' Sweet Chin Music - Kane

Thankfully, Shawn Michaels low-altitude savate kick on The Undertaker at Super Showdown 2018 - something more like an Orange Cassidy-esque 'Sweet Shin Music' - was not the last time he pulled out his iconic finisher on WWE TV.

Less thankfully, although his actual last recorded foot-on-face action was a near textbook example, it punctuated an otherwise hideous match on an entirely hideous show, helping bring to a close the torture that was D-Generation X vs. The Brothers of Destruction at the ineffable Crown Jewel 2018.

Kane, at that point in the match the most mobile of the quartet sprawled across the canvas like that scene in Gone With the Wind, twice took one on the chin, before Triple H held his perforated pectoral in place to secure the match-winning Pedigree.

Had Shawn's avarice not outstripped his pride, his last Sweet Chin Music would have landed on Kyle O'Reilly whilst HBK was performing referee duties in a match between Adam Cole and Drew McIntyre in San Antonio. After the cameo, Michaels told the press he was "too old for this". But not too wealthy.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
