10 Wrestlers Who Were World Champions In More Than One Company At The Same Time
7. Adam Cole
Adam Cole likes to hold championships.
The former leader of The Undisputed Era has held every male championship in NXT and was NXT Champion for 396 days; the longest reign in the title's history. Elsewhere, Cole also holds the record for the longest ever reign with the PWG Championship.
Cole picked up the PWG title in December 2012, defeating Kevin Steen (Kevin Owens these days) in a Guerrilla Warfare match. He would hold the gold for a whopping 538 days before dropping it, rather fittingly, to Kyle O'Reilly.
During his reign, Cole also began another history-making stint in Ring Of Honor. Cole won the vacant ROH World Championship in September 2013 whilst still eight months away from losing the PWG title. Cole would go onto win the ROH title twice more across his career, making him the only three time champion in the promotion's history.
With this many title reigns in his past, it's not surprising that Cole held multiple world championships at once.
It would be more surprising if he hadn't.
